By accessing this website, placing an order, submitting a wholesale application, or otherwise using Best Wine Co services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you use our services on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these terms.

Best Wine Co supplies alcohol products. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcohol in New Zealand or otherwise legally permitted to buy alcohol in the place where the product is supplied.

We and our ordering, delivery, and venue partners may request proof of age or identity before accepting, releasing, or delivering an order. We may refuse or cancel an order if age or identity cannot be verified, if supply would breach law or licence conditions, or if responsible alcohol supply obligations require it.

Orders are subject to acceptance, stock availability, licence conditions, delivery availability, and payment authorisation.

We may correct errors in product descriptions, pricing, availability, or order information. If a material correction affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to contact you before proceeding.

Prices may include or exclude taxes, delivery charges, or other fees as shown at checkout, on an invoice, or through the relevant ordering partner.

Best Wine Co products may be made available through partner ordering channels. Partner platforms may apply their own terms, privacy policy, checkout process, customer support process, and delivery or collection rules.

Where a partner is involved, Best Wine Co and the partner may share order and customer information reasonably required to process, fulfil, support, verify, refund, or report on the order and to comply with applicable law.

Retail orders must be paid using the payment methods offered at checkout or by the relevant ordering partner.

Wholesale customers must pay invoices by the due date agreed with Best Wine Co. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, wholesale payment terms are strictly net, due and payable on the 20th of the month following the date of invoice.

If amounts are overdue, we may suspend supply, charge reasonable debt recovery costs, and charge interest where permitted by the applicable account terms or law.

For wholesale customers, ownership of goods does not pass until payment has been made in full. Risk in goods passes on delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Best Wine Co may retain a security interest in supplied goods and related proceeds to the extent permitted by the Personal Property Securities Act 1999.

Goods are not returnable unless faulty, incorrectly supplied, or approved by Best Wine Co in advance. Approved returns should be raised promptly and quote the relevant invoice number.

You must provide accurate and complete information, keep account credentials secure, comply with applicable laws, and use the website and services only for lawful purposes.

You must not interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt unauthorised access, submit false or misleading information, or use the website in a way that could harm Best Wine Co, its partners, or other users.

Promotions, discounts, and offers may be subject to additional terms, expiry dates, eligibility requirements, stock limits, and responsible alcohol advertising requirements.

We may withdraw or amend promotions where necessary, including to correct errors or comply with law.

We collect, use, store, and disclose personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes information used to process orders, support partner supply arrangements, verify age, manage wholesale accounts, and meet legal obligations.

Website content, branding, product information, images, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Best Wine Co and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission except as allowed by law.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under laws that cannot be excluded, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies.

To the extent permitted by law, Best Wine Co is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time by publishing the updated version on our website. The updated terms apply from the date they are published unless stated otherwise.

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute relating to these terms or the services will be dealt with in New Zealand unless applicable law requires otherwise.
